The water will then be turned off and on again without <br /> charge, but no remission of rates will then be made for less <br /> than one calandar month. <br /> Rule 5. Owners or consumers desiring to discontinue the use <br /> of water for any special purpose, whether for closets, bathtubs, <br /> or other fixtures, the faucets must be removed, supply pipes to <br /> the fixtures disconnected, and written notice filed with the <br /> Town Clerk before a reduction in rates will be made. <br /> Rule 6. Amended by Ordinance No. 192. <br /> If not paid on or before the 10th of the month they become delin- <br /> quent and a penalty of 10 per cent must be added and collected ' <br /> as a part of the water rate , and if not paid on or before the <br /> 20th of the. month, the water will be turned off. Should the <br /> occupant of the premises turn on the water or cause it to be turned <br /> on after it has been shut off at the curb cock, it will be turned <br /> off at the main, and a charge of $10. 00 made for turning it off <br /> and mi. <br /> Rule 7. No consumer, shall be permitted to conduct water pipes <br /> across lots or buildings to adjoining premises. <br /> Rule 8. Two or more premises cannot be supplied from one and <br /> the same connection unless provided with separate shut-off cocks, <br /> located in the street. • <br /> Rule 9. Service pipes must be laid at least three feet below <br /> the surface of the ground. <br /> Rule 10. The Town of Louisville shall not be responsible for <br /> service pipes and fixtures, all owners at their own expense must <br /> keep service pipes from the curb cock in, on their own property <br /> in good working order, and properly protected from frost and <br /> other disturbances. No claim shall be made against the Town of <br /> Louisville , on account of the breaking of any service pipes or <br /> apparatus or for failure in the supply of water. No reduction <br /> from the regular rates will be made for any time that service <br /> pipes may be frozen. <br /> Rule 10 A. Added by Ordinance No. 199. <br /> �` Rule 11. Consumers shall not use hose larger than 3-4 inch <br /> diameter, and sprinkling without nozzle or from nozzle larger <br /> than 1-4 inch opening is strictly forbidden. Water for lawn <br /> sprinkling may be used in accordance to the provisions and re- <br /> gulations made by' the Town Council each and every year, and at <br /> no other times. <br />
