The water will then be turned off and on again without charge, but no remission of rates will then be made for less than one calandar month. Rule 5. Owners or consumers desiring to discontinue the use of water for any special purpose, whether for closets, bathtubs, or other fixtures, the faucets must be removed, supply pipes to the fixtures disconnected, and written notice filed with the Town Clerk before a reduction in rates will be made. Rule 6. Amended by Ordinance No. 192. If not paid on or before the 10th of the month they become delin- quent and a penalty of 10 per cent must be added and collected ' as a part of the water rate , and if not paid on or before the 20th of the. month, the water will be turned off. Should the occupant of the premises turn on the water or cause it to be turned on after it has been shut off at the curb cock, it will be turned off at the main, and a charge of $10. 00 made for turning it off and mi. Rule 7. No consumer, shall be permitted to conduct water pipes across lots or buildings to adjoining premises. Rule 8. Two or more premises cannot be supplied from one and the same connection unless provided with separate shut-off cocks, located in the street. • Rule 9. Service pipes must be laid at least three feet below the surface of the ground. Rule 10. The Town of Louisville shall not be responsible for service pipes and fixtures, all owners at their own expense must keep service pipes from the curb cock in, on their own property in good working order, and properly protected from frost and other disturbances. No claim shall be made against the Town of Louisville , on account of the breaking of any service pipes or apparatus or for failure in the supply of water. No reduction from the regular rates will be made for any time that service pipes may be frozen. Rule 10 A. Added by Ordinance No. 199. �` Rule 11. Consumers shall not use hose larger than 3-4 inch diameter, and sprinkling without nozzle or from nozzle larger than 1-4 inch opening is strictly forbidden. Water for lawn sprinkling may be used in accordance to the provisions and re- gulations made by' the Town Council each and every year, and at no other times.
