) <br /> Rule 12. ' Consumer shall prevent unnecessary waste of water and <br /> keep all water outlets closed when not in actual use. Hydrants, <br /> II urinals, water closets, bathtubs or other openings, must not be <br /> left running to prevent water from freezing in pipes or for any other <br /> purpose , and for any other unnecessary waste of' water the Town of Louis <br /> ville reserves the right to cut off the supply and assess a penalty <br /> which shall be paid before the water is turned on again. <br /> Rule 13. During all alarms of fire, the use of hose and other out- <br /> lets where a constant flow of water is maintained is postively for- ' <br /> bidden. <br /> Rule 14. Amended by Ordinance No. 182. <br /> Rule 15. No occupant or owner of any building into which water <br /> is introduced will be allowed to supply water to other persons or <br /> families. The water department agrees to furnish water for a cer- <br /> tain specified sum. If therefore consumers furnish other people <br /> or supply water for animals or for sprinkling, washing vehicles or <br /> for building purposes, or permit it to be taken without the know- <br /> ledge and consent of the water department, it is a violation of the <br /> contract and consumers so asenting shall be required to pay' double <br /> ' the price of water so used, and the city reserves the right to shut <br /> off the supply for abuses of water privileges. When the water has <br /> been turned off for a violation of the rule, the water department <br /> will withhold it until all dues and penalties have been paid, in <br /> eluding the sume of Two dollars for turning the water off. <br /> Rule 16. In case there shall be any water rent delinquent and <br /> the supply has been turned off the water shall not be turned on <br /> - again until all such delinquent water rents shall have been paid. <br /> Rule The Town of Louisville reserves the right upon a reason- <br /> able noice to shut off its mains for the purpose of making repairs, <br /> C;72 <br /> or extensions , or any other purpose, and no claim shall be made ag- <br /> ainst the Town by reason of the breakage of any service pipe or ser- <br /> vice cock, or from any other damage that may result from shutting <br /> off the water or repairing and laying or relaying mains, hydrants <br /> or any other connections. <br /> Rule 18. No reduction will be made from the rates on account ',of <br /> the fixtures not being used. If they are not in use and not wanted, <br /> have a plumber disconnect them and serve a notice on the Town Clerk, <br /> and charge for their use will cease. <br /> Rule 19. A fee of Two Dollars ($2.00) will be charged in all cases <br /> for turning on water except in case of turning water into the premises <br /> for the first time after water service is established therein, or in <br /> case premises are vacated and the water has been turned off by the <br /> water department for its own protection, or in case the water has <br /> II been turned off because of a break in the service connection or pipes: <br /> Rule 20. All water rates shall be charged against the property on <br /> which it is furnished and against the owner thereof, and if from any <br /> causeany sums owing therefor become delinquent, and the water shall. <br />
