Mr. Eisenberg <br />Mr. Dill asked <br /> <br />Mr. Eisenberg <br />passed. <br /> <br />Mr. Dill asked if in his 25 years of ownership or operation of retail liquor stores, had he ever had a liquor <br />code violation. <br /> <br /> stated that he had not. <br /> <br /> Mr. Eisenberg if he had ever been subject to sting or enforcement operations. <br /> <br /> stated that in the City of Denver he was continually subjected to sting operations and had <br /> <br />Mr. Dill asked Mr. Eisenberg if he held any special positions with respect to the liquor industry. <br /> <br />Mr. Eisenberg stated that he has been very active in the liquor industry. He is currently president of the <br />Colorado Liquor Retailers. He was appointed to three terms by the Governor to the Colorado Wine and <br />Development Board, which was charged with starting the Colorado wine industry, focusing on vineyards <br />in the Palisade area. He was past-president of an organization called Colorado United, succeeding Peter <br />Coors. He explained that this was a unique organization in which the membership consisted of retailers, <br />both off and on premises, wholesalers, and manufacturers. The main goal of Colorado United was <br />education for retail outlets, rules and regulations and uniform training standards. Mr. Eisenberg chaired a <br />committee to promote awareness of their duties and responsibilities under the liquor code. He stated that <br />he is presently working with Colorado Department of Revenue, Liquor Enforcement Division, on <br />guidelines for server training, both on and off premises. <br /> <br />Mr. Dill asked Mr. Eisenberg how his employees are trained. <br /> <br />Mr. Eisenberg stated that he knew of three or four different training programs. He would initiate a <br />program that would include internal stings. <br /> <br />Mr. Dill asked the number of people he would employ. <br /> <br />Mr. Eisenberg stated that initially it would be he and one other. <br /> <br />Mr. Dill asked if the Capital Hill liquor store experience was different from the liquor store within the <br />Sam's Club. <br /> <br />Mr. Eisenberg stated that Sam's Club is not only a membership club, but also is a family orientated store <br />and it is very unusual to see a minor that is not accompanied by a parent. <br /> <br />Mr. Dill asked about the lease with Sam's Club and financing of the liquor store. <br /> <br />Mr. Eisenberg stated that he has a lease, with an initial term of five years, with options to renew. He has <br />also established a line of credit with the First Bank of Boulder County. <br /> <br />Mr. Dill asked if Mr. Eisenberg was familiar with the other retail liquor stores in Louisville. <br /> <br />Mr. Eisenberg stated that he had visited three of the local stores for the purpose of compiling competitive <br />price information. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
