deny the application. <br /> <br />The Authority previously set the boundaries of the neighborhood for the license as the current boundaries <br />of the City of Louisville. Chairperson Jeffers asked if anyone present objected to the boundaries of the <br />neighborhood being the current boundaries of the City of Louisville. Being none, the Authority <br />proceeded with the public hearing. <br /> <br />Chairperson Jeffers move that the complete application as contained in the Authority packet be made a <br />part of the record of the heating. Myers seconded the motion. All were in favor, motion carded. <br /> <br />The applicant, David Myers, 25 South 38t~ Street, Boulder, CO, was sworn in. The applicant's attorney <br />Michael Bynum, presented the application for D. Myers LLC, d/b/a RedStone Brewery and Grill. <br /> <br />Mr. Bynum stated that he would address any opposition to the application and asked Chairperson Jeffers <br />if it would appropriate to ask to hear that opposition at this time. <br /> <br />Chairperson Jeffers asked if any interested party in the audience who wished to speak in opposition to the <br />application? <br /> <br />There were no parties wishing to speak in opposition to the application. <br /> <br />Mr. Bynum stated that there were interested parties in the audience who wished to speak in favor of the <br />application. He asked them to come forward, state their names and address, be sworn in, and give <br />testimony. The three persons were sworn. <br /> <br />Mr. Bynum asked the three parties if they were all 21 years of age, did they consume alcoholic beverages, <br />and do they frequent liquor establishments in the City of Louisville. He also asked if they felt there was a <br />need and did each of them desire for this license to be granted at this location. <br /> <br />All answered in the affirmation. <br /> <br />Mr. Bynum asked each party to come forward and state their reasons for desiring this type of license in <br />Louisville. <br /> <br />Susan Carol, 723 Mead Street #2, Louisville, Colorado, stated that she really enjoys this type of <br />establishment, but in order to do so, she must to go to Boulder. She really enjoys going to the Louisville <br />businesses, and when they have visitors from out of town, they take them to all the local establishments. <br />She feels that the brew pub atmosphere is missing in Louisville and she is favor of the application <br /> <br />Don Durso, 154 S. Cleveland, Louisville, Colorado, stated that agreed with everything Ms. Carol had <br />said, and that he too enjoys the brew pub atmosphere. He stated that now he and his friends go to <br />Boulder to enjoy brewpubs. He felt that the old town flavor of Louisville would be enhanced by a <br />brewpub, and he was in favor of the application <br /> <br />John Carlson, 112 Pheasant Run, Louisville, Colorado, stated that he and his wife also enjoy going to <br />brew pubs. He felt that it would be nice to take his family out for an evening meal, at a brewpub on Main <br />Street, and felt that it would bring more activity the downtown.
