vehicle which is designed primarily for travel on the public highways and which is <br />generally and commonly used to transport persons and property over the public <br />highways, but excluding recreational vehicles as defined in section 17.20.165. <br />EG. Any person found guilty of violating any provision of this section shall be <br />punished for each violation as provided in section 1.28.010. Each act or omission in <br />violation of this section shall be deemed a separate violation and for each calendar <br />day during which any violation continues, a separate violation shall be deemed to <br />have been committed. <br />F. No minimum setbacks are required for motor vehicles from adjoining property <br />lines. <br />Sec. 17.20.165.Parking of recreational vehicles and <br />trailers. <br />2. Number within front yard setback: No more than one recreational <br />vehicle or trailer may be parked or stored in the front yard setback_ <br />3. Improved surface required: A recreational vehicle or trailer parked or <br />stored in a front yard setback shall be parked on a paved driveway which is intended <br />for parking or access to the garage or carport, or on an improved surface adjacent to a <br />paved driveway. A recreational vehicle or trailer parked or stored on private property <br />within an area between a street and any wall of a structure facing the street, shall be <br />parked or stored on an improved surface, <br />4. Screening: A recreational vehicle or trailer which is parked in a rear <br />yard, a side yard, or a side yard adjacent to the street shall be screened by a solid <br />fence enclosure. Such fence enclosure shall be six feet in height and shall be <br />constructed in full compliance with this code, including vision clearance <br />requirements. <br />5 No encroachment: A recreational vehicle or trailer, including any <br />bumpers, hitch apparatus, racks or any other item thereon, shall not encroach into a <br />public street, sidewalk, or public right-of-way, and shall not be parked or stored <br />within any vision clearance area or any sight -restriction area required to be left open <br />for visibility purposes. <br />6. Rear Yard Setback Requirements: A recreational vehicle or trailer <br />parked or stored in a rear yard shall maintain a setback of five (5) feet from adjoining <br />property lines. <br />7. Must be upon owner 's property: A recreational vehicle or trailer shall <br />be parked or stored only upon property occupied by the owner of the recreational <br />vehicle or the trailer. <br />Deleted: , or in any area between the <br />street and any wall of a structure facing <br />the street. For corner lots, this restriction <br />applies to all areas between the streets <br />and the walls of the structure(s) facing the <br />streets.¶ <br />Deleted: within a front yard setback, or J <br />Deleted: that is either the driveway <br />intended for parking or access to the <br />garage or carport, or an area adjacent to <br />the driveway. <br />
