The Authority requested Officer Steve Jokerst follow-up on any subsequent reports <br />related to the citations issued at Gentleman Jim's the date of the alleged offenses. <br /> <br />Incident at Bungalow Wine & Spirits <br /> <br />Officer Jokerst reviewed a police report concerning an incident on January 7, 2000, <br />whereby Bungalow Wine & Spirits allegedly sold, at retail, alcohol beverages to a visibly <br />intoxicated person. The incident involved persons observed in the parking lot of Village <br />Square shopping center. Both suspects appeared to be intoxicated and were in possession <br />of opened alcohol containers purchased from Bungalow Wine & Spirits. <br /> <br />After lengthy discussion by the Authority, it was determined there was probable cause to <br />proceed with a Show Cause Hearing on the alleged liquor violations. <br /> <br />In other comments separate from the agenda, Authority member Myers requested Officer <br />Jokerst follow-up on a letter, previously provided to the Authority by Sergeant Riggins, <br />written by Chief Goodman to owner Doug Harper at Union Jack Liquor Store. The letter <br />involved an article about recent sting operations conducted in Lafayette. Authority <br />members questioned why this letter was directed to Union Jack Liquor as opposed to all <br />the license holders. <br /> <br /> <br />
