The Authority requested Officer Steve Jokerst follow-up on any subsequent reports
related to the citations issued at Gentleman Jim's the date of the alleged offenses.

Incident at Bungalow Wine & Spirits

Officer Jokerst reviewed a police report concerning an incident on January 7, 2000,
whereby Bungalow Wine & Spirits allegedly sold, at retail, alcohol beverages to a visibly
intoxicated person. The incident involved persons observed in the parking lot of Village
Square shopping center. Both suspects appeared to be intoxicated and were in possession
of opened alcohol containers purchased from Bungalow Wine & Spirits.

After lengthy discussion by the Authority, it was determined there was probable cause to
proceed with a Show Cause Hearing on the alleged liquor violations.

In other comments separate from the agenda, Authority member Myers requested Officer
Jokerst follow-up on a letter, previously provided to the Authority by Sergeant Riggins,
written by Chief Goodman to owner Doug Harper at Union Jack Liquor Store. The letter
involved an article about recent sting operations conducted in Lafayette. Authority
members questioned why this letter was directed to Union Jack Liquor as opposed to all
the license holders.
