Roll Call Vote: Kimmett - yes, Evans - no, Lipton - no, Myers - <br />yes, Jeffers - yes. The motion carded by a vote of three to two. <br /> <br />Show Cause Hearing - Gentleman Jim's Inc., d/b/a Gentleman Jim's Bar & Grill - Hotel <br />& Restaurant Liquor License - 330 South McCaslin Blvd. <br /> <br />Special Prosecutor Bruce Joss presented the findings of his investigation of the January 10, 2000 <br />alleged violations at Gentleman Jim's Bar & Grill. He stated that alter his review of the police <br />reports and his interviews of the witnesses, he did not believe there was enough evidence to go <br />forward with the Show Cause Hearing. He noted that the municipal court had reviewed this <br />matter last month and dismissed the criminal charges. Given his investigation and the findings of <br />the municipal court, Special Prosecutor Bruce Joss moved to dismiss the Order to Show Cause <br />against Gentleman Jim's Bar '& Grill. <br /> <br />Police Sergeant Jerry Riggins indicated that there was additional information and distributed to <br />the Authority members an email sent to him by Officer Muldoon. He also stated that the officers <br />who issued the summonses could not account for the one hour of time questioned by Authority <br />members. <br /> <br />There was Authority discussion relative to the new information presented by Sergeant Riggins. <br /> <br />Jeffers moved that the Authority grant the Motion to Dismiss the Show Cause Order against <br />Gentleman Jim's Bar & Grill. Myers seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Evans - yes, Myers - <br />yes, Kimmett - yes, Jeffers - yes, Lipton - yes. All members in favor motion carded. <br /> <br />Extension of Temporary Liquor License Permit - Holly & Mike's Ribs, Inc., d/b/a Kaddy <br />Shack - Hotel & Restaurant License - 1000 South Boulder Road. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers reviewed the request for an extension of a Temporary Liquor License for <br />Holly & Mike's Ribs, Inc., dgo/a Kaddy Shack that will expire March 16, 2000. The permit is <br />pending Transfer of Ownership of a Beer & Wine License. The Applicant requested a sixty (60) <br />day extension. <br /> <br />Authority Attorney Kathleen Kelly presented a letter dated March 9, 2000 from Louisville <br />Finance Director, Dianne Ray notifying the Authority that the Licensee is delinquent on payment <br />of sales tax. Evidence was provided to the Authority Secretary that on March 13, 2000, the <br />Applicant made a payment of $2,766 in delinquent sales tax. Finance Dkector Ray was satisfied <br />that the payment would cover the delinquent sales tax. Attorney Kelly also noted that a complete <br />transfer application has not been submitted by the applicant. <br /> <br />Applicant Michael Davis stated that the reason a complete transfer application packet had not <br />been submitted to the Authority is they are experiencing problems obtaining a new lease <br />agreement. Mr. Davis stated that all other documentation is complete and would be submitted by <br />the end of the business day March 16, 2000. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br /> <br />
