Louisville Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Date: October 30, 2000 <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />Authority Chairperson Myers asked if there was anyone present on behalf of Romero' s Liquors LLC. <br />Attorney for the applicant, Kristine Hoeltgen came forward and stated her name and address for the <br />record as, Kristine A. Hoeltgen, Attorney at Law, 6795 W. 19th Place #108, Lakewood, Colorado. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers asked Ms. Hoeltgen if the Pine Street Plaza Shops LLC is both the landlord and the <br />fee owner of the property to be licensed. Ms. Hoeltgen stated that Pine Street Plaza Shops LLC and Mr. <br />Andrew Havas are collectively the landlord and the fee owner. <br /> <br />Member Jeffers asked if Mr. Havas is a managing partner of the LLC. Ms. Hoeltgen concurred. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers asked if Pine Street Plaza Partnership still owned any interest in property to be <br />licensed. Ms. Hoeltgen stated Pine Street Plaza Partnership no longer owns any interest in the property <br />in question. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers asked if any Authority members had questions for the applicant. None heard, Chair <br />Myers asked the applicants Rosela and Donna Romero to come forward, state their name and address for <br />the record. <br /> <br />Donna Romero stated her name and gave her present address as 3365 W. Walsh Place, Denver, <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />Rosela Romero stated her name and gave her present address as 11243 W. Mexico Drive, Lakewood, <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers stated that the previous owner, Gary Galvin of L & G Liquors, Inc. had incurred a <br />liquor violation and that, based on the terms of the Amended Decision and Order dated July 31, 2000, <br />the applicants will inherit the 5-day suspension held in abeyance until July 31, 2001. He asked if the <br />applicants were aware of the violation and subsequent penalty. Ms. Hoeltgen stated the applicants were <br />made aware of this situation as part of Authority Attorney Kelly' s letter of September 29, 2000 and both <br />Donna and Rosela Romero stated that they agree to the terms set for the in the Amended Decision and <br />Order, including the suspension that has been held in abeyance. <br /> <br />Deputy City Clerk noted for the Authority that Rosela Romero would be re-fingerprinted on Thursday, <br />November 2, 2000 because the fingerprint card sent to the FBI was returned as insufficient. Bolte stated <br />that the report received from CBI was clear and that based on a name check only, the FBI report was <br />clear. <br /> <br />Member Kimmett moved to approve the transfer application for Romero's Liquors LLC, d/b/a Romero's <br />Liquors of a Retail Liquor Store License located at 1140 Pine Street, Unit #1. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers offered a friendly amendment adding that, the approval be conditioned upon the <br />Local Licensing Authority receiving copies of all notes and documents executed at closing. Chairperson <br />Myers seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton - yes, Kimmett - yes, Evans - yes, Jeffers - yes, <br />Myers - yes.
