Min d/b/a Little Tokyo - <br />332 McCaslin Blvd. <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Lipton moved to set the boundaries of the neighborhood as the current city limits of <br />the City of Louisville and that the public hearing date be set for Monday, November 27, 2000 at 7:00 <br />p.m. in the 2nd floor Council chambers of City Hall located at 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. <br />Chairperson Myers seconded the motion. Holly & Mike's Ribs, Inc., d/b/a Hickory Sticks Smokehouse & Grill - Sales Tax <br /> <br />Deputy City Clerk Bolte stated that the Authority had requested a follow-up on the sales tax account of <br />Hickory Sticks Smokehouse & Grill following the approval of their hotel and restaurant liquor license in <br />July 2000. She noted that a letter from Dianne Ray, Director of Finance was included in member <br />packets for their review. The letter stated that the licensee is delinquent on payment of their sales tax <br />for the months of June, July and August 2000 and that the July 2000 payment, remitted for August and <br />September 1999 penalties and interest, was reversed out as a "short check." <br /> <br />Member Jeffers asked Authority Attorney Kelly if the delinquency of the licensee' s sales tax is basis for <br />ordering a show cause hearing. Attorney Kelly stated that lack of sales tax payments could be cause for <br />a heating because under current case law, compliance with tax requirements relates directly to the issue <br />of good moral character. <br /> <br />Chairperson Myers reminded members that the approval of Hickory Sticks liquor license was contingent <br />upon the licensee catching up, and keeping current, with their sales tax payments. <br /> <br />There was brief discussion concerning the evidence required to order a show cause hearing and whether <br />the Authority felt the letter from Dianne Ray was sufficient, or whether additional documentation from <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
