Louisville Local Licensing Authority
Meeting Date: January 29, 2001
Page 3

Bo

Public Hearing - Sanabria Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a Abo's Pizza - Beer & Wine Liquor License -
1355 S. Boulder Road #C2.

Vice Chairperson Lipton opened the public hearing on the application for a Beer and Wine liquor license at 1355
S. Boulder Road, #C2, Louisville, Colorado, under the business name of Abo's Pizza. Deputy City Clerk Bolte
stated that the application is for a Beer and Wine liquor license and the copies of the entire application have been
provided to each Authority member. Bolte stated that the application was incomplete. She continued that
fingerprint reports are on file with the state and that public notice of the hearing has been posted and published
in accordance with state law.

Authority Attorney Kelly stated to the Authority that there are a few items remaining that have not been received
from the applicant. She noted that both owners were present. Attorney Kelly noted that a second lease
amendment indicating possession of the premises had been received, but that it refers to a first amendment that
the applicant has been requested to provide. The other items outstanding were outlined in Attorney Kelly's
memo of January 25, 2001. Authority Attorney Kelly stated that the Authority would need to make a threshold
determination as to whether the application is complete for purposes of proceeding with the public hearing.

Deputy City Clerk advised the Authority that the applicants received a copy of Attorney Kelly's letter just prior
to the hearing.

Member Jeffers asked the applicants, Beatriz Sanabria and Lizzette Sanabria, to come forward and answer
questions for the Authority. Member Jeffers asked the applicants if they had a copy of the first amendment to
the lease and if they could clarify the source of funding indicated on both individual history records. Ms.
Lizzette Sanabria stated they could satisfy both requests but asked how they should respond to question 31
concerning 5525,000 put in to the Louisville store that was profit saved from their Boulder restaurant. Ms.
Sanabria stated that the money was not part of a loan and did not come from a bank account. Member Jeffers
and Attorney Kelly stated that they could note those funds as cash on hand.

Member Jeffers asked Attorney Kelly if it was a problem having Herbert Sanabria listed as a guarantor on the
lease when he is not a member of the corporation applying for the liquor license. Attorney Kelly stated that for
the purpose of the lease this would not be a factor, but that members would be able to address his role in the
business at the hearing on the application.

Member Jeffers moved to continue the public hearing on the new application for a Beer and Wine liquor license
for Sanabria Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a Abo's Pizza, 1355 S. Boulder Road, to the next regularly scheduled meeting
to be held on February 26, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor Council Chambers of City Hall, 749 Main Street,
Louisville, Colorado. Member Kimmett seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton - yes, Kimmett - yes,
Jeffers - yes. All members were in favor, motion carried.

Member Jeffers moved to amend the agenda and move item (F) under the Secretary's Report to item (C) under
Authority Business. Vice Chairperson Lipton seconded the motion. All members were in favor, motion carried.

C. Transfer application for Coal Creek Golf Course, Inc., d/b/a Coal Creek Golf Course, 585 Dillon
Road, Hotel and Restaurant w/Optional Premises liquor license.

Vice Chairperson Lipton asked the applicant to come forward.

Steve Baysinger, Director of Parks and Recreation, came forward and introduced himself.
