Municipal officials from across the state will gather at this day-long workshop to discuss key municipal issues before the 2009 General Assembly, theCML legislative program and what municipal officials can do to influence the legislative process. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the legislative process and its importance to cities and towns. An open house reception for state legislators and municipal officials will follow the workshop at the CML office building, 1144 Sherman St., Denver, 4:30-7 p.m. There is free onsite parking at CMLfor the reception. CMLLEADERSHIP CREDITS Five Elected Officials' Leadership Training Program credits are available for this training.
