Requested LSAB's support in climate action
outreach and support.
Laura: Perhaps getting feedback from businesses and residential.
Tiffany and Laura: Connect with Denver re: their climate action tax
Mark and Seth: Commercial/business survey/forum
Todd and Dan: Residential feedback
9. 7:30 PM Discussion Item: Water Rate Structure
Presented by Joshua Cooperman, LSAB Member
(10 min presentation, 5 min discussion and next steps)
Josh: We could provide an incentive for using less water. City staff puts
together a yearly analysis on how to adjust the rates. This happened recently.
We could ask that they consider adjusting the structure so we charge by how
much people actually use. Let's talk to the city staff and the utility department
first before talking to the council. We could reach out to the new task force on
Equity to partner with LSAB on this.
Katie will ask if staff can present on fee structure of the water bills.
10.7:45 PM Discussion Item: Green Building and Development
(10 min discussion and next steps)
Lt
