Cityof <br />U Louisville <br />City Manager's Office <br />o Development to occur at LSAB meetings <br />Disposable Bag Tax Implementation <br />• Council has approved the budget amendment for implementation and directed <br />communications with businesses. <br />• Staff is development a business -specific FAQ with a sign-up form for businesses to stay up-to- <br />date on available resources and information. Visit lousivilleco.gov/bagtax for additional <br />information. <br />• This week, postcards have been sent to every business that may be impacted. Additional <br />communications have been sent to the Chamber and will be sent to Economic Vitality contacts. <br />• Residential outreach and engagement will begin late summer. More details to come. <br />• Staff continues to track HB21 1162 and any implications passed legislation may have. <br />Municipal Operations <br />o Audits will take place on June 17th. Staff will be going before Council on July 20th with an <br />update on efficiency improvements. <br />o RFP for golf course charging has been awarded and installation will take place in June. <br />Energy Future Collaboration (EFC) <br />o The City of Louisville and Boulder County has led an effort for regional EV planning that <br />the Brendle Group (via Xcel Energy's Partners in Energy program) will provide technical <br />experience to develop. More details to come. <br />Grants <br />o The EIAF grant through the state was not awarded. Staff will continue to move forward <br />with the 2021 IECC as well as proposed reach code additions for commercial and <br />industrial with proposed additions to the residential. Staff will present to LSAB for input <br />before going to Council in the fall. <br />o Current: <br />• Boulder County Sustainability Matching Grant <br />• RAQC Charge Ahead Grant <br />Next Steps <br />None <br />
