2. Plan for the addition of two to four permanent pickleball courts, with nets, at <br />Cottonwood Park. Cottonwood has parking, is relatively small for tennis courts, <br />and has good distance to surrounding homes, an advantage as a struck <br />pickleball has a relatively loud sound. <br />3. Find a creative way to add lights to the Centennial Park tennis courts and any <br />new dedicated pickleball courts. This might include partnering with corporations <br />and adding a plaque of appreciation. As so many people work, and league play <br />in tennis is therefore mostly at night, this would extend the availability to the <br />general public after league play is done (usually at 8 p.m.). <br />
