<br />11/3/83 <br /> <br />Page -18- <br /> <br />JICINSKY CONSTRUCTION -AWARD <br />BID POOL ADDITION <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the bid tabu- <br />lation as well as recommendation from Director <br />of Community Services Hioco. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Leary seconded <br />that the bid be awarded to Jicinsky Construction <br />Company for the Pool Addition in the amount <br />of $17,500. <br /> <br />Director Hioco explained the difference between <br />the estimate of $13,000 and the one received <br />by Jicinsky of $17,500 was that the boy's <br />locker room was uncovered, and there were <br />some constructional problems in putting the <br />roof on this section and putting a vent on <br />the roof, which was not anticipated. Also <br />a window had to be added to the office area. <br />The correct light fixtures were not calculated; <br />they were too small. Completion anticipated <br />mid May, in the meantime none of the classes <br />will be disturbed by the construction. <br /> <br />Question called for on the motion. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />SA BELL'S PAY ESTIMATE #5 - <br />KEITH HELART & HILLSBOROUGH <br />WEST PARK <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the pay estimate <br />and recommendation from Director of Community <br />Services Hioco. <br /> <br />Dedication of these Parks <br /> <br />Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Leary seconded <br />that Pay Estimate #5 in the amount of <br />$27,436.75 be paid to SaBelle's for Keith <br />Helart and Hillsborough West Park construction. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl reminded the Mayor and <br />Councilmembers of the dedication of these <br />parks on Saturday, November 5, 1983 at 2:00 P.M. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />BOULDER CONCRETE - PAY ESTIMATE Councilmembers had a copy of the pay estimate <br />#2 _ CONCRETE REPLACEMENT and recommendation from Director of Public <br />Works Kasch. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Councilman Ferrera moved, Councilman Fauson <br />seconded that payment be authorized to <br />Boulder County Concrete for concrete replace- <br />ment, pay estimate #2 in the amount of <br />$10,731.06. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
