7/19/83 Page -13- Administrator Wurl Stated that the pavers would be doing Delany or Cherry St. on Thursday, July 21st. On the Pine St. paving, a meeting had been scheduled with American Home Builders the latter part of the week to obtain a schedule from them on when it would be completed. The plans have been submitted and approved by our engineers. A portion of the improvements on Pine St. will be done by McStain Corp. and this has to be coordinated with American Builders. Councilwoman Morris qomart Street Plan Expressed her concern that as more development takes place on Pine St. both north and south that Pine St. still goes nowhere. You can only get into the City, and what will happen is that people who are trying to get to the Interchange are going to be going through other residential areas. Felt as a Council we should look at when pine St. will be con- tinued to McCaslin or if that is going to be the route, and make some determination so that access does not continue to be a prob- lem as the south end of the City develops. Administrator Wurl advised that decision will be made when Council decides on whether the street plan that will be submitted by Homart is acceptable. Requested that staff's recom- mendation be considered in terms of Homart's plan. Homart representatives stated they would have their information for submittal to the staff available by August 1st for the setting of the hearing before the Plan- ning Commission on August 9, 1983 for the Planning Commission's meeting on September 13, 1983. By August 1st the staff should have whatever changes they have made to their street plan, which is keyed to the extension of pine St. Mayor Meier Commented that Homart representatives should be aware that if they hope to come back with the same plan as before presented that they would know that it is not acceptable by either Planning Commission or Council.
