<br />Page -6- <br /> <br />City Engineer Blanchard <br /> <br />Replied no - what it would really do is <br />widen Via Appia.About the first 600' <br />south of South Boulder Road our curb and <br />gutter does not align with the curb and <br />gutter further south. So this is not a <br />widening project in the sense that we are <br />widening but we are bringing it to what it <br />already is further south, and certainly can <br />accomodate that and both sets of traffic <br />signals. <br /> <br />VOTE ON MOTION <br /> <br />Question called for on the motion. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MAIN STREET WATER LINE - <br />AWARD BID <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the bid tabu- <br />lation as well as recommendation from the <br />Consulting Engineers - Rocky Mountain Con- <br />sultants. <br /> <br />BID AWARDED <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the low bidder, Powder River <br />Construction Co. be awarded the bid for the <br />Main Street water line replacement in the <br />amount of $115,666.00. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AMERICAN LEGION SPECIAL <br />EVENTS LIQUOR APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the appli- <br />cations were in order and suggested May 17th <br />for the public hearing. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Leary <br />seconded that the American Legion Special <br />Events Applications for June 4th 4:00 P.M. <br />to 2:00 A.M. June 5th; July 23rd from 6:00 P.M. <br />to 2:00 A.M. July 24th; August 13th 4:00 P.M. <br />to 2:00 A.M. August 14th; and September 5th <br />from 8:00 A.M. till Midnight be accepted and <br />a public hearing set for May 17, 1983. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE BILLS <br /> <br />City Treasurer Hesson read the bills in the <br />amount of $113,222.78. <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that the bills be approved and <br />checks issued for the same. Question called <br />for. All in favor.
