<br />1/18/83 <br /> <br />Page -10- <br /> <br />Councilman Leary <br /> <br />Commented since the partnership is gaining <br />some economic advantage by the City approv- <br />in the IRB's and essentially giving a state- <br />ment of faith in the partnership, he felt <br />if would be appropriate if Mr. Bellock named <br />the persons who made up the partnership. <br />Bellock replied essentially him as general <br />partner of Regal Associates, Dr. David <br />Hibbard and a group of financial backers <br />associated with him, and Dr. Michael Fukai. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier continued the public hearing - <br />asked if there was anyone present favoring <br />Resolution #2. None. <br />Anyone in opposition - None <br />Council comments - None <br />Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #2 - LOUISVILLE <br />MEDICAL ASSOCIATES - INDUSTRIAL <br />REVENUE BONDS <br />ADOPTED <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cum- <br />mings seconded that Resolution #2 - Louis- <br />ville Medical Associates - Industrial Revenue <br />Bonds be adopted. Roll call vote. <br />Leary Yes <br />Fauson Yes <br />Ferrera Yes <br />Meier Yes <br />Cussen Yes <br />Cummings Yes <br />Morris Yes <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />JACOBS/KAHAN - REPORT ON <br />BANKRUPTCY STATUS <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised he had some <br />contact with the Federal Court in Chicago <br />and requested they send us copies of all <br />the documents. We are also compiling all <br />the documents 'W'e have involving the group <br />and are reviewing them. Council will be <br />kept up-to-date of anything that transpires <br />that is pertinent to the matter. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary <br /> <br />Inquired if the City had received payment <br />from the Interchange Agreement. <br />Administrator ~url stated - we have not, but <br />that he had met with John Alshuler who in- <br />formed him that the check had been cut and <br />we should have it within the next few days. <br />On the other check for the additional <br />$25,000, he was awaiting documentation from <br />us certifying that the matching funds were <br />isolated at the bank. This documentation <br />had been sent to him. <br />
