PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED - PUBLIC HEARING 2/15/83 Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that Ordinance #781 - Adoption 1982 Uniform Mechanicl Code be published and the public hearing be set for February 15, 1983. Question called. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. ORDINANCE #782 - UNIFORM FIRE CODE Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance. Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on first reading and the request was for authorization for publication and a public hearing set for 2/15/83. PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED PUBLIC HEARING 2/15/83 Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings seconded that Ordinance #782 - Adoption of 1982 Uniform Fire Code be published and a public hearing be set for February 15, 1983. Councilwoman Morris Inquired if there were any additions by the City to this Code. Rautenstraus advised there was not; however they do provide certain appendices to the to be adopted depending on local option, and the Building Inspector suggested that certain appendices be adopted. Councilwoman Morris expressed the same concerns as she did on the Uniform Building Code additions - not having read the 1982 Fire Code. Councilman Leary Inquired if the Fire Department adopted these very same Codes. Rautenstraus advised they do; however was not certain if they had adopted the 1982 Fire Code as yet. Councilman Fauson Advised that the Louisville Fire Protection District has sent applications in to the County to adopt the 1981 Fire Code with some alterations; but it was his understand- ing that the 1982 Fire Code had not yet been adopted. Councilwoman Morris Inquired what A~pendices I-B and II-B were to the Uniform Fire Code. Attorney Rautenstraus to check.
