All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #782 - UNIFORM <br />FIRE CODE <br /> <br />Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />on first reading and the request was for <br />authorization for publication and a public <br />hearing set for 2/15/83. <br /> <br />PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED <br />PUBLIC HEARING 2/15/83 <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cummings <br />seconded that Ordinance #782 - Adoption of <br />1982 Uniform Fire Code be published and a <br />public hearing be set for February 15, 1983. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris <br /> <br />Inquired if there were any additions by the <br />City to this Code. <br />Rautenstraus advised there was not; however <br />they do provide certain appendices to the <br />to be adopted depending on local option, <br />and the Building Inspector suggested that <br />certain appendices be adopted. <br />Councilwoman Morris expressed the same concerns <br />as she did on the Uniform Building Code <br />additions - not having read the 1982 Fire <br />Code. <br /> <br />Councilman Leary <br /> <br />Inquired if the Fire Department adopted these <br />very same Codes. <br />Rautenstraus advised they do; however was not <br />certain if they had adopted the 1982 Fire <br />Code as yet. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />Advised that the Louisville Fire Protection <br />District has sent applications in to the <br />County to adopt the 1981 Fire Code with <br />some alterations; but it was his understand- <br />ing that the 1982 Fire Code had not yet been <br />adopted. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Morris <br /> <br />Inquired what A~pendices I-B and II-B were <br />to the Uniform Fire Code. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus to check. <br />
