Street Lights

Park Areas

Maintenance of Undeveloped Lots

Bike Paths

Replat of Open Space

Don Taylor, 104 Carter Court

11/16/82

Page -8-

hazard, should have small mesh grating.
The builder mentioned trash detention racks,
it was his hope this would prevent children
from getting injured.
Street lights were another concern - are to
be installed at the end of the year.
Homeowners expected to have recreation areas
for the children and the adults, including
one or more tennis courts - would like to
see this developed.

Homeowners would like to have ongoing main-
tenance of undeveloped lots, including weed
and trash control. It was his understanding
that citations had been issued by the City,
but the weeds and trash remained a problem
all summer. The developer has indicated he
will grade all the unfinished lots before
active weed growth occurs. Mr. Reed again
stressed if the City would accept the im-
provements, the homeowners would be happy as
well.
Noted on the developer's schedule list - bike
paths, which had no date for completion, wanted
to know when this would be accomplished.
The final date when everything would be com-
pleted was July 15, 1983 and felt this was
agreeable with the homeowners of Mission Greens.
He requested that the City advise the home-
owners if the schedule is being met as pro-
mised by the developer - felt there was a
lack of communication - would very much ap-
preciate this being done.

A year ago it was discussed replatting of
the open space area and it was decided that
these small areas would be given to the home-
owners. This replat has not been completed,
and he was concerned that he did not own the
25' acquired through this arrangement. He
requested this be expedited. Mr. Suitts
had advised the replat would come before
Council at their December 7th meeting.

Stated his comments would be a sound endorse-
ment of the Mr.. Reed's comments. He too felt
there had been misunderstandings and lack
of communications. He recently circulated
a petition at Coal Creek Crossing Subdivision
of almost every homeowner. Mr. Taylor left
a copy of the petition with City Engineer
Blanchard, whom he met with the previous day.
