He felt that too much money <br />was being transferred; felt that the City <br />has future obligations and it will be very <br />likely burdens will be placed on our existing <br />residents because of these fund transferred. <br />In his opinion the budget approved in the <br />study session was adequate; although he disap- <br />proved City Administrator's raise in salary <br />that wouldn't have been reason to disapprove <br />this budget. It was his feeling it was ir- <br />responsible to borrow money from a fund that <br />Council supposedly stated was the highest <br />priority. <br /> <br />Commented he shared these same concerns; <br />felt the City Council should be as fiscally <br />prudent as possible. <br /> <br />Roll call on motion to adopt Resolution #31. <br /> Ferrera Yes <br /> Cummings Yes <br /> Morris Yes <br /> Fauson Yes <br /> Meier Yes <br /> Leary No <br /> Cussen No. <br />Motion carried 5-2 to adopt Resolution #31. <br /> <br />Each councilmember had a copy of the resolution, <br />and Attorney Rautenstraus read it in its <br />entirety. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings moved, Councilman Ferrera <br />seconded that Resolution #32 - Appropriation <br />of Funds - 1983 be adopted. Question called <br />for. 5 Ayes - 2 Nays with Councilmen Leary <br />and Cussen opposed. Motion carried 5-2. <br /> <br />Each councilmember had a copy of the resolution, <br />and Attorney Rautenstraus read it in its <br />entirety. <br /> <br />Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Leary <br />seconded that Resolution #33 - Tax Levy 1983 <br />be adopted. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion earried unanimously. <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus requested Council table <br />this item as the signed Sub-division Agreement <br />had not been received from the developer. <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cummings <br />seconded that Resolution #34 - Hillside Qquare <br />
