<br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />Retention Pond at Mission <br />Greens <br /> <br />Parking at Corner of Main <br />and Pine <br /> <br />Detour on Delany Road <br /> <br />Reclamation on Mall Site <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings <br /> <br />9/7/82 <br /> <br />Page -13- <br /> <br />Inquired who was in charge of plantings in <br />parkways i.e. between the curb and sidewalk. <br />Some of these are overhanging the sidewalk <br />and others obstructing traffic; also men- <br />tioned $ome9ne had planted corn in the parkway. <br />Wurl advised this could be handled by our <br />Code Enforcement Officer. <br /> <br />Commented he had been contacted by Mr. <br />Sharp who informed him that the retention <br />pond at Mission Greens needed to be corrected. <br />Mr. Sharp expressed concern that if this was <br />done it would remove the ground cover and <br />he would have dirt blowing onto his lawn. <br />It was his suggestion that this project be <br />delayed until early spring. <br />Administrator Wurl stated he and City Engineer <br />Blanchard would review it; however expressed <br />concern that if the basic drainage problem <br />is not resolved there may be more problems <br />with the drainage than with the dust problem. <br /> <br />Fauson stated this intersection has a <br />RTD park and ride location designation and <br />several people have been parking their <br />cars all day long - park their cars, get <br />on the bus, and leave their cars at this <br />location all day long - what can be done? <br />Leesman to check the situation. <br /> <br />Asked what the time-frame on this was. <br />Blachard to contact the developer. <br /> <br />It was his undE!rstanding that this would <br />take place in approximately 30 days - <br />could these people be contacted to make <br />certain something will be done. <br />Wurl to contact them. <br /> <br />Also expressed his concern about the recla- <br />mation at the Mall site. <br /> <br />Wished to commend the Police Department for <br />a job well done at the Labor Day festivities; <br />a~so wished to commend the Street Department <br />for cleaning up before people went to work. <br />
