Page -8-
hind Continental View in Louisville. First of all I would like to thank

the Council very much for having this opportunity to discuss this issue

one more time. There have been some other meetings - I didn't have a

chance to talk at those. But I do want to thank you at this point and time.
When I first walked in here tonight I was a little bit mortified, and a
little bit disappointed to see so few of the Mesa residents here. I
very
know for a fact that over 300 of them are concerned with this issue,

and very much against it. So I thought about it for awhile and came to one
conclusion; the only one that I could come to. They have lost faith in

the City Council of Louisville; they don't feel anybody is listening
anymore. I would have hoped with all the information that had been

presented at these earlier meetings and Planning Commission, other Council

meetings, other on uh, or rather impromptu type meetings that the infor-

mation that surfaced not only in regards to the traffic, the potential

water problems, the incompatibility of a light industrial factory or mon-

strous office complex in a fine residential area would have been enough

to table this whole issue. I think maybe those people who didn't show
up were right - somebody in Louisville is not listening. (Loud and thunderous
applause). I've kind of got a question for the Council and that question
being, short of Neodata walking up here and tabling this whole item them-
that anybody
selves. Is there anything/in this place that can say tonight to put it

on the back burner? Your silence is your answer. I have heard rumors
to the fact that there are a few individuals on this Council that are

sensitive to people's cries living on the Mesa. To those of you indivi-

duals, we thank very much.

(More loud applause). We only regret that

those individuals are a vast minority. Thank You.

(More applause).

Meier: Mr. Dennis Knowlton - would you step up to the podium and state

your name and address, please.
