Remarked that when a homowner does the work himself, he must put a value on his labor ~ he inquired if this was a standard procedure? Administrator Wurl advised this provision could be excluded and suggested perhaps this could be increased to $1,000 valuation with no fee. Councilman Leary moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded that Ordinance #761 be changed to read "Total Valuation" $1.00 to $1,000 , ex- clud~n!labor - no fee. Second category to read $ ,O~ to $2,000 as included in the ordinance~ Question called for on the change. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Referred to page 2 of the ordinance - Wood Frame Dwelling Valuation - Basic Structure inquired if this was $42.00 per sq. ft. The reply was yes. Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cummings seconded Ordinance #761 - Building and Mechanical Permit Fees be published as amended. Inquired if the fee had to be changed on page 3 - $1.00 to $500. Wurl advised no - this was a plumbing fee. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried u.nanimously. Councilma.n Fauson moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. None Councilman Leary inquired if there was going to be a Spring clean-up this year? Suggested that Director Hioco advise residents what will be picked up. i.e. branches, vege- tation, etc. - exclude junk cars, refrigerators, large trE~es.
