<br />5/4/82 <br /> <br />Page .".8- <br /> <br />in terms of intergovernmental agreements. <br /> <br />Councilman Ferrera <br /> <br />Favored intergovernmental agreements, but <br />felt this request must be dealt with this <br />evening.. It was his opinion the property <br />should be annexed, granted utilities, which <br />would takle care of the immediate problem, <br />then work on the long term intergovernmental <br />relationships. He viewed this as a special <br />case. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings <br /> <br />Commented he had to agree with Councilman <br />Ferrera and viewed this as a special case, <br />since the property was zoned light industrial <br />in 1965. Even though annexation and grant- <br />ing utilities would not give the City com- <br />plete control, at least the City could pro- <br />tect the buffer. <br /> <br />DENIAL OF TROUSIL REQUEST <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded the Trousil request for outside <br />water and sewer tap be denied. Roll Call <br />Vote: <br />YES: Morris, Leary, Meier, Fauson <br />Cussen <br />NO: Cummings, Ferrera <br />Motion carried 5-2. <br /> <br />BLACK DIAMOND SALOON - <br />LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL <br /> <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the <br />application was in order and each council- <br />member had a copy of the police incident <br />report. <br /> <br />Mayor Meier <br /> <br />Iquired of Chief Leesman if the unwanted <br />party was called in by the property owner <br /> <br />Leesman reported in both cases the parties <br />had walked in off the street and would not leave. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Fauson <br />seconded that the Black Diamond Saloon <br />liquor license be renewed. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />LDC AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Mayor and each councilmember had a copy of <br />the agreement. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus advised it was his <br />understanding the agreement met with the <br />approval of the LDC Board of Directors, and <br />was requesting council comments and approval. <br />
