It was his opinion the property should be annexed, granted utilities, which would takle care of the immediate problem, then work on the long term intergovernmental relationships. He viewed this as a special case. Councilman Cummings Commented he had to agree with Councilman Ferrera and viewed this as a special case, since the property was zoned light industrial in 1965. Even though annexation and grant- ing utilities would not give the City com- plete control, at least the City could pro- tect the buffer. DENIAL OF TROUSIL REQUEST Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Cussen seconded the Trousil request for outside water and sewer tap be denied. Roll Call Vote: YES: Morris, Leary, Meier, Fauson Cussen NO: Cummings, Ferrera Motion carried 5-2. BLACK DIAMOND SALOON - LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the application was in order and each council- member had a copy of the police incident report. Mayor Meier Iquired of Chief Leesman if the unwanted party was called in by the property owner Leesman reported in both cases the parties had walked in off the street and would not leave. APPROVAL Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Fauson seconded that the Black Diamond Saloon liquor license be renewed. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. LDC AGREEMENT Mayor and each councilmember had a copy of the agreement. Attorney Rautenstraus advised it was his understanding the agreement met with the approval of the LDC Board of Directors, and was requesting council comments and approval.
