J>age - 6 -

Mayor Meier This is the type of industry that the City of
Louisville would like to have within the corporate limits, because
of the highly technical aspect, and the nonpolluting aspect of this
type of industry. Looking at the scheme of what you have planned
in Phase I and II, Ken you would not build all that parking under
just Phase I?

Ken Tanaguchi

No.

Mayor Meier Because that would almost alleviate your doing any
construction afterwards. Approximately how much would you
complete under Phase I?

Ken Tanaguchi (Pointed out on the map what portions would be
constructed under Phase I and Phase II).

Mayor Meier Just a personal comment on the parking - I note
what John was referring to earlier that some of the programs that
they have done on ride-sharing, or whatever; but seeing as how
some of the problems that you have had in the past with parking,
I think also your parking plan has to be - I can see the conservation
effort, but I also think it has to be realistic for how many
employees could possibly at one time be there. So, in that respect,
I would just soon see you have a few more, than not enough, and
they were parking on South Boulder Road or wherever, or on top
of your berms. While I would rather see them on your berms than
on South Boulder Road. I don't think that the gas and oil prices
are going to get any better, but if the people choose not to carpool
as they used to before, I would just as soon see that there is
adequate parking planned for those people. That's all the remarks
I have.

John Rupp

I might mention that the Church of the Latter Day
Saints is coming in with a sizable plan to the east, for development
of a good-sized church - (then informed council of the surrounding
area, i.e. open space, land owned by the City, filter plant etc.)

G~mncilman Fauson Wished to address his remarks to Curt - well the
first thing we would have to do, would be to amend the annexation
agreement?

Attorney Rautenstraus

Yes, that is what they are requesting.

Councilman Fauson

It would not be subdivided - or it will be subdivided?

Attorney Rautenstraus Well it is still going to be subdivided, but this
will simply go ahead and have a building permit issued prior to
the final subdivision approval. They still have to go thru the
subdivision process, but we are saying a building permit may be
issued to them prior to completion of the subdivision process.
Neodata does not have to go thru the subdivision process under the
Municipal Code; however, B.S.C.S. agreed by the contract, by the
annexation agreement, to go thru the subdivision process.
