ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ADMINIS- TRATOR' S REPORT COUNCIL CO}ft1ENTS Councilman Leary JOINT MEETING WITH LAFAYETTE ON COMMUNITY HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER 3/2/82 Page -14- Mr. Brock stated his preference would be to work on the negotiations with the staff first, then make a presentation to Council. Question called for on the motion. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. Councilman Cummings moved, Councilman Fauson seconded the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. All in favor. Motion carried. Reported that he had been contacted by some citizens and he had spoken to Art Tanner of Boulder Corrrrnunity Hospital about the need to establish a group to do the necessary planning for the Medical Center they are planning to build. The concerns of the citizens were, without proper plan- ning, the desi.gn of the building would not meet the needs of the two corrrrnunitiies. He suggested t'\vO representatives from Louisville, two from Lafayette, represen- tatives from Boulder County, and the Health Dept., etc. meet with Art Tanner to iden- tify what the function of such a planning group might be. Suggested Administrator Wurl contact Lafayette about the concept and if they are agreeable get the meeting set up with Art Tanner. Councilman Leary moved, Mayor Meier seconded Administrator Wurl contact Lafayette to set up a meeting between Lafayette officials, Louisville officials and Corrrrnunity Hospital to initia.te this planning process. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. Mayor Meier and Councilman Leary requested the meeting be set for a Monday evening as they would like to attend. Referred to the Aspen Greens Final Plat and P.U.D. plan approved by Council a few weeks ago, it was his feeling that council- members give more consideration to the recommendations of planning corrrrnission with conditions. He did not feel the conditions were addressed individually by Council.
