All in favor. Hotion
carried 7-0.

Mr. Badger deferred his presentation until
next council meeting - Harch 2, 1982.

Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen
seconded the City Administrator's report
be accepted and placed on file. Question
called for. All in favor. Hotion carried.

Referred to the discussion of curb cuts
on South Boulder Road with the Aspen Greens
project - inquired if the City Engineer
should not perhaps have a definite policy
regarding how many curb cuts should be made
on South Boulder Road, a major arterial.
Director Rupp agreed this policy should be
developed and in discussing the review of
the transporation aspect of the comp plan
the Engineering Department has been working
on the criteria and manuals for design and
specs. When these are completed they will
be adopted by reference as part of the comp
plan.

Commented on the editorial in the Louisville
Times dealing with secret meetings or dis-
cussions between two councilmen and stated
for the public record he had not attended
a- private me-eting- where there were more than
two_ elected officials since Election Day,
with the exception of the Christmas party
at Norbert's and the Hayor's Christmas
party. In terms of the informant that had
provided the Louisville Times with these
accusations, He thoughcpublic officials should accept
the shots - it goes with the job. One of the
reasons the Code of Ethics was passed was to
provide a means by which these types of issues
could be resolved. If a citizen has a major
concern there is a means for them to bring
that concern to council.
