5) A firm and established relationship with the City Manager and City Council. Not just something loose <br />and haphazard. Make progress on Sustainability Action Plan initiatives. <br />2. Work with City Council to develop clear metrics of LSAB success and creating consistent opportunities <br />for LSAB to meet with Council to ensure our work is helping to advance Council's objectives and City's <br />needs (currently, LSAB members have to attend Council meetings and engage Council in open public <br />forum: this is both demeaning to the work we do and inefficient). <br />Help develop and support a multi -year decarbonization strategy for Louisville. <br />I hope that LSAB will plan another gas -powered landscaping equipment trade-in event, plan (and possibly <br />implement) a commercial electric landscaping equipment pilot program, and begin to lay the groundwork <br />for a City-wide ban on the use of gas -powered landscaping equipment.
