Question #10
Is there anything else you'd like the group to know or discuss? These items may be added to future
LSAB agendas, dependent on time at the May meeting.
4 responses
not for now -goal is to volunteer 3-5 hours}month, but my May is SUPER busy work -wise- I'm most
comfortable with research and analysis (that's my job), but I'd love to get out and meet local players
(businesses, sustainability orgs, etc) so that I get to do something new.
Let's go BOLD and BIG! Our future depends on it! With ambitious leadership from you, Kayla .... we can do
anything! 2/3 of GHG emissions come from cities! Let's do something about ours in a systematic, planned
approach that brings the community along with us. With a plan of carrots and sticks, we can move our town
forward on reducing emissions and introducing natural climate solutions_ Our town passed a 25 cent bag
tax ---- people are ready .... but we need leadership'.
We should discuss inviting chairs of other relevant advisory boards, including Open Space and Planning
Commission, to discuss overlaps in these Boards' agendas for 2022 and our Sustainability Action Plan —so we
can better collaborate on these complex initiatives and better utilize existing resources.
Would LSAB be interested in providing input to the consultant hired by the City to develop a parks
maintenance plan?
0
