City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 5, 2022 <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />Shea & Liv Hirsh asked the Council to consider setting aside money to plant more <br />pollinator pathway gardens around town to help benefit the bee population and to replace <br />concrete with pollinators to help reduce the heat island effect and store carbon. <br />John Willson, Chief Louisville Fire District, stated he supports the consent agenda item for <br />the repaving of 104th Street as their firetrucks use it to access Fire Station #3. <br />Josh Cooperman, 216 Griffith Street, asked Council to consider converting the 104th <br />Street medians to native planting areas to reduce the heat island effect and mitigate the <br />effect of climate change. He suggested deferring other paving or mowing to pay for this. <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA <br />Mayor Stolzmann asked for changes to the consent agenda; hearing none she asked for <br />a motion. Motion: Councilmember Maloney moved to approve the consent agenda, <br />seconded by Councilmember Fahey. Vote: All in favor. <br />A. Approval of Bills <br />B.
