Kathryn Penzkover - 3D printed visors that she made and that were used <br />as personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic; mask <br />holder; and photo of the donor working with the 3D printer. <br />7. Avista Adventist Hospital - cards relating to COVID-19 and to the Marshall <br />Fire that students sent to the Hospital from local schools. <br />D. Advice sought on donations of other artifacts being offered: None <br />IX. Chair's Report: John reported to the Commission about the Pioneer Award <br />ceremony at the Chamber of Commerce banquet. <br />X. Pioneer Award: <br />A. Selection of this year's Pioneer Award subcommittee of two Commission <br />members: Selection moved to next meeting <br />B. Decide on schedule for selection of 2022 recipient: The Commission <br />decided to select recipients for both 2022 and 2023 and come up with <br />nominations for the award for the next meeting. <br />XI. Louisville History Foundation update: Foundation Chair Catherine Wessling could <br />not be at the meeting, but Sharon informed the Commission that the Foundation <br />has talked about the Museum fully taking over the Museum membership program <br />and the Foundation continuing to take donations, starting in 2023. Bridget stated <br />that plantings will be going into the Museum Courtyard soon, courtesy of the <br />Foundation. <br />XII. Election of officers (Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary) for 2022: The officers <br />elected for 2022 are: John Honan as Chair, Scott McElroy as Vice Chair, and <br />Jonathan Ferris as Secretary. These elections were approved, vote 5 to 0 on all <br />appointments. <br />XIII. Items of common interest with the Historic Preservation Commission: <br />A. Updates on recent HPC actions: Keith Keller, HPC member, informed the <br />Commission about four newly landmarked properties, and about how the <br />HPC is continuing work on the landmark properties coloring book. <br />B. Selection of 2022 liaison to HPC: None at this time <br />XIV. Commission comments Ft discussion items for next meeting: Talk about <br />continuing the vintage baseball game <br />XV. Close meeting Et adjourn: The LHC meeting adjourned at 7:22 pm.
