City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 3, 2022 <br />Page 3 of 8 <br />He stated City Council's weekly study sessions for Marshall Fire recovery have ended <br />and updates will now happen at regular Council meetings. Today's update is: <br />• Personal Property Debris Removal is moving quickly now. <br />• We continue to test service lines so we know what needs to be replaced. <br />• The City has gotten grant funding for additional stormwater testing. <br />• We are working on the cleanup of the intersection of McCaslin and Via Appia. <br />• We have a fence replacement contract out to bid for the Dog Off Leash area, we <br />will have a short term fix with temporary fencing this weekend to allow it to open. <br />• The first building permit for a rebuild was released today in Superior, we will have <br />one in the next week or so. <br />Members discussed rebuilding requirements and processes in general as well as issues <br />that may need to be addressed as rebuilding continues. <br />Councilmember Dickinson stated the Commercial Vacancy Report in the packet and <br />stated the information was compiled with a lot of legwork and individual visits. The report <br />has a lot of very detailed information if people are interested. <br />Councilmember Most stated this report is very valuable to us and most communities this <br />size don't have this. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />APPROVAL OF OLDER AMERICAN'S MONTH PROCLAMATION <br />Mayor Stolzmann read the proclamation and asked for approval. <br />VOTE: All in favor. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1828, SERIES 2022 — AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />17.20.170.C. OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE ALLOWING AN ALTERNATIVE <br />TO INSTALLING ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE AS PART OF <br />THE REBUILDING OF STRUCTURES SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGED OR DESTROYED <br />BY THE MARSHALL FIRE — 2"d READING — PUBLIC HEARING (advertised Daily <br />Camera 4/10122) <br />Mayor Stolzmann introduced the item by title and opened the public hearing. <br />Planning Director Zuccaro stated that in April the Council approved an ordinance allowing <br />those rebuilding from the Marshall Fire an opt -out from building to the 2021 IECC and <br />Appendix RC. If a resident requests an opt -out from the 2021 IECC and Appendix RC for <br />financial hardship, this ordinance would allow an opt -out from the electric vehicle charging <br />requirements as well. This is an option would only be for those who owned the property at <br />
