Keany wanted a noise ordinance looked into for better enforcement. REGULAR BUSINESS PRESENTATION - CENTAURUS LITTLE LEAGUE Tom Hessman, Player Agent for Centaurus Little League, 512 West Arrowhead Court, Louisville, Colorado, thanked the City of Louisville for their support of Little League Baseball for more than 600 children between the ages of seven and eighteen. He presented a plaque to the City of Louisville. Davidson thanked all of the volunteer coaches for their many hours of volunteer time for all the various sports in Louisville. RESOLUTION NO. 17, SERIES 1997 - AMENDING THE 1997 BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL, CONSERVATION TRUST- LOTTERY, CAPITAL PROJECTS AND SEWER UTILITY FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO - PUBLIC HEARING (PUBL. LSVL. TIMES 3/15/97) Dianne Ray, Finance Director, reported that at the end of 1996 certain encumbrances remained open, to be expended in 1997. The appropriations for these items require amendment of the 1997 Budget. It is a total budget amendment of $233,490. Davidson opened the pubic hearing and called for anyone wishing to speak on Resolution No. 17. NONE Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council questions or motions. Mayer moved that Council approved Resolution No. 17, Series 1997, amending the 1997 Budget for 1996 open encumbrances, seconded by Sisk. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. RESOLUTION NO. 18, SERIES 1997 - DESIGNATING PART OF THE FUND BALANCE OF THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMUNITY PARK, AND FUTURE DEBT REDUCTION Dianne Ray, Finance Director, stated that during the 1997 budget process the partial funding for a community park was earmarked in the Capital projects Fund. In order to reserve these funds for the specific project, a designation of the fund balance amount should be identified. This would increase the existing designated amount orS100,000 to $200,000, to be used exclusively for the development of a community park. Davidson called for Council comments or motions.
