PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE #721 STREET VACATION CEMETERY RESOLUTION # 14 - HONORING PATRICIA STAHL ADOPTION RESOLUTION #15 - HONORING MIKE RANDALL ADOPTION RESOLUTION #16 - BLACK DIM~OND SPECIAL USE REVIEW Councilman Fauson 6/16/81 Page - 7 - A discussion was held regarding the traffic pattern and the possibility of acquiring more land for the cemetery in the future. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance #721 - Street Vacation - Cemetery be put out for publication. Seconded by Council- man BrO~l. Question called for. 4 Ayes. Councilman Domenico Nay. Motion carried 4-0. Attorney Joss read the resolution in its entirety. Councilman Domenico moved that Resolution if14 - Honoring Patricia Stahl be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. 5-0. Attorney Joss read the resolution in its entirety. Councilman Fauson moved that Resolution if15 honoring Mike Randall be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Cummings. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. Director of Community Development Rupp in- formed Council the location was 732 Main St. and presented slides of the site plan. The applicant's request was to utilize the empty lot on the north side of the existing building as an outdoor, seasonal eating and drinking area, (Summer months only) to handle expected over-flow crowd,and to continue to revitalize his property and beautify the downtown area. Access would be from the building and a Special Review Use Agreement had been signed by Richard Ross, owner, assuring the City it would be run as a first-class business operation. The Planning Commission recommended approval. Inquired. if Mr. Ross planned to keep the outdoor area open through Labor Day. Mr. Ross replied that the special review use did not specify a time for the outdoor area; however in his opinion it would be depending on the weather conditions.
