<br />Councilman DelPizzo <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION #16 <br />BLACK DIAMOND SPECIAL REVIEW <br />USE <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF THE CITY <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />CITY HALL LANDSCAPE PLAN <br /> <br />6/16/81 <br /> <br />Page - 8 - <br /> <br />Inquired about the foundation for the <br />outdoor area. <br />Mr. Ross advised the cement foundation <br />would be a foot above the existing side- <br />walk, and an addi tional sidewalk installed along <br />the north side for people entering from <br />the parking lot in the rear of the building. <br />Also, there would be a 3' planter approxi- <br />mately 2' set back from the existing side- <br />walk on Hain St. with a 3' wrought iron <br />fence above the planter. <br />Cormnented that two Jprevious Qutdoor facilities <br />were not approved by Council and suggested <br />that Mr. Ross set an example by maintaining <br />his facility in an orderly fashion. Then <br />perhaps at a later date the outdoor facilities <br />can be incorporated elsewhere in the City. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the resolution in its <br />entirety. <br />Councilman Curmnings moved that Resolution <br />#16 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Brown. Question called for. All in favor. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Director of Cormnunity Services advised <br />Council the landscaping plan had been <br />done last year just before the new City <br />Hall building was completed. He showed <br />a slide of the area as it exists also <br />one with the proposed landscaping relative <br />to the placement of the Miner's Statute. <br />If the statute was moved from the southeast <br />corner to the center position some of the <br />sprinkling system would have to be removed; <br />as well as the omission of some of the trees <br />proposed. The cost to relocate the statue <br />would be $300 and there was a possibility <br />of damage and cracking. <br />
