Councilman DelPizzo Councilman Fauson ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION #16 BLACK DIAMOND SPECIAL REVIEW USE ACCEPTANCE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT CITY HALL LANDSCAPE PLAN 6/16/81 Page - 8 - Inquired about the foundation for the outdoor area. Mr. Ross advised the cement foundation would be a foot above the existing side- walk, and an addi tional sidewalk installed along the north side for people entering from the parking lot in the rear of the building. Also, there would be a 3' planter approxi- mately 2' set back from the existing side- walk on Hain St. with a 3' wrought iron fence above the planter. Cormnented that two Jprevious Qutdoor facilities were not approved by Council and suggested that Mr. Ross set an example by maintaining his facility in an orderly fashion. Then perhaps at a later date the outdoor facilities can be incorporated elsewhere in the City. Attorney Joss read the resolution in its entirety. Councilman Curmnings moved that Resolution #16 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Brown. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. Councilman Domenico moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. Director of Cormnunity Services advised Council the landscaping plan had been done last year just before the new City Hall building was completed. He showed a slide of the area as it exists also one with the proposed landscaping relative to the placement of the Miner's Statute. If the statute was moved from the southeast corner to the center position some of the sprinkling system would have to be removed; as well as the omission of some of the trees proposed. The cost to relocate the statue would be $300 and there was a possibility of damage and cracking.
