<br />RESOLUTION #12 - THOMPSON <br />SPECIAL USE REVIEW <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />REOLUTION #13 - COTTONWOOD MANOR <br />LOTS 1,2,3,4, & 5 FINAL PLAT <br /> <br />STEVE ANDERSON <br />Representing Silvertrees, Inc. <br /> <br />ADOPTION RESOLUTION #13 <br /> <br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />5/19/81 <br /> <br />Page - 13 - <br /> <br />Director Rupp advised Council that the <br />Planning Commission unanimously approved <br />the special use review - a % acre site <br />zoned COTI~ercial, the Louisville Automotive <br />Clinic will o--ccuRy/&:haJ3 leased the southwest <br />corner - the northeast corner will be for <br />retail office space lease; and Mr. Thompson <br />has agreed to move the entranceway and do <br />the landscaping within the next 90 days. <br />The permanent signs will be replaced within <br />120 days.. <br />City Attorney Joss read the resolution in <br />its entirety. <br />Councilman Fauson moved that Resolution #12 <br />Thompson Special Use Review be approved. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Director Rupp advised Council the proposal <br />is to be called Silvertrees, Inc. - prior <br />to the proposal were apartment type units, <br />on a 1.7 acre parcel, zoned for high density, <br />and is an existing development, made <br />a slide presentation. The conversion will <br />be from rental townhouse units to indivi- <br />dually mvned townhouse residences. Im- <br />provements will be made i. e. fencing ditches, <br />landscaping, restructing some of the parking <br />areas. The Planning Commission and staff <br />recommend approval. <br /> <br />Advised Council the location of the proposed <br />townhouses was on Cottonwood Drive on the <br />South side - exist with front and rear en- <br />trances for each individual unit. There <br />will be 7 units in the conversion. The <br />beginning price of the units will be $29,600. <br />Attorney Joss then read the resolution in <br />its entirety. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that Resolution #13. <br />Cottonwood Manor, Final Plat be adopted. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Stated he liked the basic concept of the <br />proposal and the low price offered, his <br />only objection was that there were not <br />other rental units available with the town- <br />house aspect. <br />Steve Anderson advised 15 apartment units <br />were being built in the Christopher Village <br />and eventually a total of 60 units. He <br />stated that he had taken a survey of the <br />apartments in the area and they are running <br />
