<br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />JACOBS-KAHAN LAND AND <br />BUILDING LEASE <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION FOR MAYOR AND <br />CLERK TO SIGN LEASE <br /> <br />BOULDER COUNTY RECOMllliNDATION <br />FOR APPROVAL OF ROGER CRA- <br />CRAFT FOR RTD BOARD OF <br />DIRECTORS <br /> <br />NONAPPROVAL <br /> <br />5/5/81 <br /> <br />Page - 9 - <br /> <br />in the anlount of $667.34 for 24 months. <br />It was his recommendation that Council <br />award the bid to Merit Leasing Corp. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Merit <br />Leasing Corp. of Colorado be awarded <br />the leasE~ purchase of the police vehicles. <br />Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br />5-0. <br /> <br />Administrator Wurl advised Council the <br />lease was for buildings and grazing land <br />in our open space at Paclamar Farms. In <br />the original sub-division agreement a pro- <br />vision was made that Jacobs/Kahan could <br />lease these. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Mayor <br />and Clerk be authorized to sign the Pac lamar <br />building and land lease. Seconded by <br />Councilman Meier. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. 5-0. <br /> <br />Each member of council had a copy of <br />a letter from the .Boulder County Commissioners <br />recommending Roger Cracraft as a member <br />of the Board of Directors for RTD. <br />Administrator Wurl advised 3 names had been <br />submitted to the Boulder County Commissioners <br />for consideration - <br />Norman Smith - Broomfield <br />Rogl=r Cracraft - Boulder <br />David Stahl - Louisville <br />It was Mr. Wurl's suggestion that someone <br />from southeast Boulder County would be <br />more support~ve of Louisville than the City <br />of Boulder. He stated historically Longmont <br />and Boulder have been on the Board and con- <br />sequently derived all the benefits from RTD, <br />and it was his opinion southeast Boulder <br />County warranted some support at the present. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />of Louisville go on record not to support <br />the recmIITllendation of Roger Cracraft to <br />the Board of Directors for RTD.
