APPROVAL JACOBS-KAHAN LAND AND BUILDING LEASE AUTHORIZATION FOR MAYOR AND CLERK TO SIGN LEASE BOULDER COUNTY RECOMllliNDATION FOR APPROVAL OF ROGER CRA- CRAFT FOR RTD BOARD OF DIRECTORS NONAPPROVAL 5/5/81 Page - 9 - in the anlount of $667.34 for 24 months. It was his recommendation that Council award the bid to Merit Leasing Corp. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Merit Leasing Corp. of Colorado be awarded the leasE~ purchase of the police vehicles. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. Administrator Wurl advised Council the lease was for buildings and grazing land in our open space at Paclamar Farms. In the original sub-division agreement a pro- vision was made that Jacobs/Kahan could lease these. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the Pac lamar building and land lease. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. 5-0. Each member of council had a copy of a letter from the .Boulder County Commissioners recommending Roger Cracraft as a member of the Board of Directors for RTD. Administrator Wurl advised 3 names had been submitted to the Boulder County Commissioners for consideration - Norman Smith - Broomfield Rogl=r Cracraft - Boulder David Stahl - Louisville It was Mr. Wurl's suggestion that someone from southeast Boulder County would be more support~ve of Louisville than the City of Boulder. He stated historically Longmont and Boulder have been on the Board and con- sequently derived all the benefits from RTD, and it was his opinion southeast Boulder County warranted some support at the present. Councilman Domenico moved that the City of Louisville go on record not to support the recmIITllendation of Roger Cracraft to the Board of Directors for RTD. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo.
