All in favor. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />URBAN DRAINAGE & FLOOD CONTROL <br />MASTER DRAINAGE PLAN PROPOSAL <br /> <br />Mr. Higgins thanked Director Hioco <br />for his cooperative participation <br />with the Task Force program. <br /> <br />Each council member had before them <br />a copy of the proposed agreement with <br />estimated costs. Administrator Wurl <br />advised they were asking for prelimin- <br />ary approval of the agreement. The <br />agreement would again be presented <br />to Council after an engineer had been <br />selected and specific figures for <br />final approval. <br />City Engineer Blanchard advised Council <br />of the opportunities of the agreement <br />i.e., aerial photography, contour <br />mapping 'which will be an asset to all <br />departments. This will be done as <br />soon as possible, and be underway with <br />work by June - the project will be <br />finished in approximately a year. <br /> <br />APPROVAL <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that tem- <br />porary approval be given to the Urban <br />Drainage Plan study. Seconded by <br />Councilman Domenico. <br />Inquired if the funds were in the <br />budget. <br />Administrator Wurl advised a portion <br />had been budgeted for 1981 and the <br />remainder would be budgeted in 1982. <br />Question called for.
