Mr. Wurl then commented the <br />only time the City heard from the <br />Boulder Co. Health Dept. was when <br />the preli.minary plans were being <br />discussed for Centennial Valley Mall, <br />and that laboratory tests to date <br />have sho~m no toxic or hazardous <br />materials to be detectable in the <br />Community Ditch. He then asked <br />Council's permission to write a <br />letter to the Boulder County Health <br />Dept. stating this is their respon- <br />sibility -not ours, and that the <br />oversizing of the pipe cost should <br />come from the fees collected by the <br />landfill people. He would also re- <br />quest tha.t definite information be <br />given the City if the leachate is <br />a problerrl with proven tests, and <br />if nothing is done to solve the problem <br />that the City of Louisville request <br />the Environmental Protection Agency <br />to take necessary action. <br />Mayor Caranci instructed City Adminis- <br />trator Wurl to write the letter to <br />the Boulder County Health Dept. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S <br />REPORT <br /> <br />Councilma.n DelPizzo moved that the <br />City Administrator's report be accepted <br />and placed on file. Seconded by Council- <br />man Domenico. All in favor. Motion <br />carried 6-0. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE <br />REPORTS <br />Councilman Domenico <br />Sidewalk Replacement <br /> <br />Inquired if there would be a sidewalk <br />replacement program this year. Mr. <br />Wurl advised he would address this <br />within the next 3 weeks or so. <br /> <br />Weeds at Hutchinson & Grant <br /> <br />Centennial Valley Mall <br /> <br />Some residents in the area were con- <br />cerned about the weeds in the open <br />field in this area - breeding grasshoppers. <br />Code Enforcement Officer to notify. <br />Wanted to know the progress - <br />Mr. Wurl advised the preliminary plans <br />for the sewer lines and water facility <br />are in the office, as well as the street <br />grades and improvements and are being <br />
