Health Dept. was when the preli.minary plans were being discussed for Centennial Valley Mall, and that laboratory tests to date have sho~m no toxic or hazardous materials to be detectable in the Community Ditch. He then asked Council's permission to write a letter to the Boulder County Health Dept. stating this is their respon- sibility -not ours, and that the oversizing of the pipe cost should come from the fees collected by the landfill people. He would also re- quest tha.t definite information be given the City if the leachate is a problerrl with proven tests, and if nothing is done to solve the problem that the City of Louisville request the Environmental Protection Agency to take necessary action. Mayor Caranci instructed City Adminis- trator Wurl to write the letter to the Boulder County Health Dept. ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Councilma.n DelPizzo moved that the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Council- man Domenico. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilman Domenico Sidewalk Replacement Inquired if there would be a sidewalk replacement program this year. Mr. Wurl advised he would address this within the next 3 weeks or so. Weeds at Hutchinson & Grant Centennial Valley Mall Some residents in the area were con- cerned about the weeds in the open field in this area - breeding grasshoppers. Code Enforcement Officer to notify. Wanted to know the progress - Mr. Wurl advised the preliminary plans for the sewer lines and water facility are in the office, as well as the street grades and improvements and are being
