Museum buildings and campus: The Miners Cabins are almost ready <br />to be turned over to the City from the contractor and had a walk <br />through with the City's Facility Manager. Also, the work on the <br />State Historic Fund Grant is moving forward. <br />VII. Report from Sharon Nemechek, Director of Library Ft Museum Services: <br />No additional report <br />VIII. Report from Bridget Bacon, Museum Services Supervisor: <br />A. Museum Services Supervisor's written report: In addition to her <br />written report, Bridget reported that she is working on the <br />Louisville Historian with the lead article being the first in a two part <br />series from Jason Hogstad. Two more workshops with the <br />conservators will be held in the Library and these will be the last <br />ones. The key performance indicators were due to the city <br />comparing visitors from 2020 and 2021. The number of visitors was <br />up 264% and digital views on the website up 57%. <br />B. Updates on Museum operations Et projects: The Museum staff is <br />working on the two upcoming Art Walks for August and for <br />September's Louisville History Month, and there will be t-shirts <br />again for the vintage baseball game with Foundation funding. <br />C. Discussion/Direction/Action: Request to revise the Museum's <br />Collection Management Policy (see attached memo with proposed <br />revisions): Commission discussed the revisions and approved the <br />changes, vote 4 to 0 <br />D. Approval of Deeds of Gifts from donors: <br />The Commission members approved the deeds by vote 4 to 0, for <br />the following donations: <br />1. Mary Ann Weideman - "Mulberry Street Strong" yard sign used on <br />Mulberry Street after the fire; yard signs relating to the building <br />codes rally in March 2022 relating to re -building after the Marshall <br />Fi re <br />2. Barbara Garrett Hesson, Janet Garrett Jones, and Gayle Garrett <br />Caley - songbook that teacher Mae Goodhue used at the Monarch <br />Mine school, circa 1930s <br />3.
