Chair's Report: John reported to the Commission about grilling with the <br />City Council during the July 4t" celebration. <br />X. Pioneer Award: <br />A. Selection of this year's Pioneer Award subcommittee of two <br />Commission members: No selection made <br />B. The Commission is selecting two recipients this year, for both <br />2022 and 2023 - Discussion of nominations: The Commission <br />discussed possible nominees for the two awards and will make <br />nominations at the next meeting. <br />XI. Louisville History Foundation update (Catherine Wessling, Chair): The <br />Foundation is making plans to have funds from the membership program to <br />go to the Museum/City instead of the Foundation starting in January 2023 <br />and is focusing on fundraising, recruiting new members, and a spending <br />policy. <br />XII. Items of common interest with the Historic Preservation Commission: <br />A. Updates on recent Historic Preservation Commission actions: <br />No report <br />B. Selection of 2022 liaison to Historic Preservation Commission: <br />No selection made <br />XIII. Commission comments Et discussion items for next meeting: The Pioneer <br />award <br />XIV. Close meeting Et adjourn: The LHC meeting adjourned at 7:35 pm.
