<br />APPROVAL OF CITY <br />ATTORNEY REPORT <br /> <br />Minutes - page 4 <br />October 24, 1980 <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the City Attorney's <br />report be accepted and placed on file. Se- <br />conded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried <br />6-0. <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />POLICE INCIDENT REPORT Mr. Wurl stated that the incident has been <br />studied and a letter has been sent to the <br />persons who were involved. <br /> <br />AQUARIUS LAND <br /> <br />APPROVAL CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />CUMMINGS <br />MEETING WITH LURHA <br /> <br />PAY SCHEDULES <br /> <br />LAFAYETTE ST. SPEED <br />LIMIT <br /> <br />PARKS ORD. / DAMAGE <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there was a response <br />sent to the Aquarius persons regarding the <br />land purchase. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings stated that he would like <br />to have a meeting scheduled with LURHA. <br />Mr. Rupp stated that he would check on a date <br />convenient for the Boards. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings asked when merit salary <br />increase reviews were held. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that at present they are held <br />on a yearly basis; however, he has been working <br />on an improved program. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings stated that he would like <br />to have the speed limit on Lafayette Street <br />reviewed and possibly lowered. <br />Attorney Joss stated that the speed is set at <br />the time the Model Traffic Code is adopted and <br />it has been 30 MPH for quite some time. <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings asked why the damage minimum <br />was set at $100. <br />Attorney Joss responded that the reason it was <br />done that way is: because the City runs into a <br />jurisdictional problem with the State Statutes. <br />and also with juvenile cases. <br />
