<br />NANCY MORTON <br /> <br />MARY LOU SHIPTON <br /> <br />JUDY CHARLES <br /> <br />MARY ERHART <br /> <br />GARY WAGONER <br /> <br />GIL REED <br /> <br />OPPOSING RESOLUTION NO. 29 <br />JOHN LEARY <br /> <br />JANE BOSTWICK <br /> <br />Minutes - page 4 <br />September 2, 1980 <br /> <br />Nancy Morton" President Boulder Horse <br />Show Assoc., stated that she supported <br />the Pow Wow request and asked Council <br />approve the request. <br /> <br />Mary Lou Shipton, 213 Short Pl., Louisville, <br />stated that she has participated in the <br />Pow Wow events for many years and felt that <br />it would be an asset to the community <br />and supported the request. <br /> <br />Judy Charles J' active in 4-H groups and <br />Boulder Horseshow Assoc., stated that <br />she supported that Pow Wow request and <br />recommended favorable consideration from <br />the Council. <br /> <br />Mary Erhart, supported the Pow Wow request <br />and stated that she has participated in <br />many youth activities that were able to <br />use the facilities. <br /> <br />Gary Wagoner, property owner at present <br />for the proposed site stated that he hoped <br />Council would give the request favorable <br />consideration. <br /> <br />Gil Reed, Louisville, stated that he sup- <br />ported the Pow Wow request and felt <br />it would be a great asset to the City. <br /> <br />John Leary stated that he was not opposed <br />to the Pow Wow, but opposed to the action <br />on the zoning ordinance in regards to if <br />the vote was valid. <br />Stated that he would like to know the <br />definition of Open Space and how it should <br />be developed. <br />He stated that it seems the City was again <br />bending over backwards to take care of <br />outsiders, and also that there have been <br />no responses on what the actual costs will <br />be to the taxpayers of the community. <br /> <br />Jane Bostwick, stated that she was opposed <br />to the procedure of the public hearing; <br />that the Council was holding a hearing on <br />something that the citizens knew nothing <br />about. <br />She urged that Council deny the special <br />review use. <br />
