First Reading for publication. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that Ordinance <br />No. 694 be published. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read the resolution in its <br />entirety. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak then introduced George Ellis, <br />Rico Zarini and Ed Smith to those in <br />attendance. He invited the three <br />gentlemen to return to the next Council <br />meeting on August 19, 1980. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival moved that Resolution #26 <br />Series 1980 be adopted. Seconded by <br />Councilman Fauson. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Attorney Joss read the ordinance <br />by title only on first reading for <br />publication. <br /> <br />Director Rupp informed Council the re- <br />zoning was requested for offices at the <br />northwest corner of Garfield and South <br />Boulder Road. The proposed use will be <br />for medical and professional offices. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance <br />No. 695 be published and the public <br />hearing be set for September 2, 1980. <br />Seconded by Councilman Carnival. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked what the current <br />zoning was. <br />Director Rupp replied R-H, high density <br />residential. They are asking for approx- <br />imately 53,000 sq. ft. to be rezoned to <br />the office category, with the balance of <br />the site to be developed in residential <br />high density. <br /> <br />Question called for on Ordinance No. 695. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the <br />report be accepted and placed on <br />Seconded by Councilman Carnival. <br />in favor.
