Minutes - Page 3
June 3, 1980

AUDIENCE COMMENTS CONT'D

Norma Kirk asked why the stop signs were
taken down from So. Boulder Rd?
Leon Wurl stated that the three way stop
was never warranted according to the
standards. When the street was widened
to four lanes the stop signs didn't
agree with the standards because the
stop sign only covers one lane of the
two lanes going each way.

CITY ATTORNEY REPORT

After discussion Councilman Meier moved
that Mr. Wurl look at the matter and see
what speed limit reduction is warranted
and have him reduce it as soon as possible.
Seconded by Councilman Caranci. Motion
carried 4-2. Carnival/Domenico voting no.

RESOLUTION NO. 21
PARKING HWY 42
MINERS FIELD

After discussion on Resolution No. 21
it was read by Attorney Joss. Council-
man Caranci moved that Resolution No. 21
be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Meier.
Motion carried 4-2. Fauson/Damenico voting no.

RESOLUTION NO. 22
RENAMING STREETS

The resolution was read by Attorney Joss.
Councilman Domenico moved that Resolution
No. 22 be adopted. Seconded by Council-
man Meier. Motion carried 6-0.

APPROVAL OF CITY ATTORNEY

Councilman Carnival moved that the City
Attorney's report be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier.
Motion carried 6-0.

CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT

GENERATOR FOR PUMPS

The generator should be delivered within
1-4 weeks. Leon Wur1 also stated that
the problem at the filter plant was a
bunch of bare wire buried cable. There
has been temprary cable placed in there
while in the process of replacing the
original cable. When the Generator gets
here it will hopefully resolve the whole
thing.

APPROVAL CITY ADMIN-
ISTRATOR REPORT

Councilman Caranci moved that the City
Administrators report be accepted and
placed on file. Seconded by Councilman
Meier. Motion carried 6-0.
