<br />Minutes - page 3 <br />March 4, 1980 <br /> <br />CABLE TV CONT'D <br /> <br />After his presentation Council requested <br />a copy of the information presented. <br />Mr. Meyer noted that he would be willing <br />to meet with ':the City staff at their re- <br />quest. <br />Attorney Joss stated that these types of <br />facilities would be worked out in the <br />agreement between the company and the <br />City. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />ORDINANCE NO. 671 <br />MORRISON ANNEXATION <br />SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 671 on <br />second reading by title only. He reported <br />that the ordinance was published in full <br />on February 6, 1980 and the notice of <br />public hearing was published on February <br />13, and 20. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Mr. Morrison, the applicant asked that <br />he make his comments after the staff <br />remarks. <br />There were no other comments from the <br />audience. <br />Staff presentation was made by Mr. Rupp. <br />He noted that the property is located <br />at the corner of S.96th and Dillon Rd. <br />consisting of 80 acres. <br />He reported that they are proposing the <br />use of City water; however, would be on <br />septic systems, for 14 units on 5 acre <br />sites. With the annexation 1/2 of the <br />water on the property would be turned <br />over to the City; this would include <br />2 shares of Marshall Lake and 1/2 <br />share of Coal Creek. <br />Mr. Rupp showed the proposed plan as <br />opposed to the staff desired cluster <br />housing. <br />Councilman Meier stated that it was his <br />feelings Council liked cluster housing <br />and that it is easier to service the <br />area. He also stated that he likes the <br />idea of the conservation easement. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he did not <br />like the idea of septic systems and felt <br />that the water put in by the City should <br />have a return. <br />Councilman Carnival asked if clustering <br />would alleviate the septic system problem. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that it would not, it still <br />would not be feasible to run that line. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that he did not <br />approve of clustering because the open <br />space is always weeds. <br />
