<br />COMMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL <br />CONSTRUCTION PAY EST. #1 <br />CITY HALL REMODEL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9 <br />SERIES 1980 <br />CARNIVAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10 <br />SERIES 1980 <br />TOLEDO <br /> <br />TREE COMMITTEE <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />MUNGER HEARING <br />DATE SET <br /> <br />Minutes - page 2 <br />February 5, 1980 <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if it would not be <br />better to tear the remaining part of the struc- <br />ture down and start over. <br />Architect, Jim Hillhouse, responded that the <br />part standing is sound and will be used as <br />back up to the new structure. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if the architect <br />could get a price to tear down the remaining <br />walls. <br />Councilman Caranci stated that the loan for <br />the remodeling did not include the addition <br />and felt that there is no need to tear it down. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson asked about the caissons <br />poured in the wrong areas, and the forms were <br />poured in the wrong location. <br /> <br />Mr. Hillhouse reported that the errors were <br />due to the improper layout by the first <br />superintendent, who is no longer with the <br />company. He also stated that the errors will <br />be corrected at no additional charge. He <br />did note that there will be no contract ex- <br />tension for the errors; however, the weather <br />has been bad and may require a time extension. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman Caranci moved that <br />pay est. #1, in the amount of $27,721 be made <br />to C.I.C. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read Resolution No.9, Series 1980, <br />commending Gary Carnival for his work on the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Resolution No. <br />9, Series 1980 be adopted. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Domenico. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read Resolution No. 10, Series 1980, <br />commending Mae Toledo for her work on the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that Resolution No. <br />10, Series 1980, be adopted. Seconded by <br />Councilman Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak appointed Council members: <br />Meier, Carnival and Domenico to work with <br />Dir. Stahl on the tree program. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that February 21, <br />1980, be set for the Munger appeal hearing, <br />at 7:00 P.M. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. <br />Motion carried. <br />
