CHRISTOPHER VILLAGE
CONTINUED

FENCE APPROVAL

ORDINANCE NO. 673
WATER & SEWER CODE
CHANGES
FIRST READING

ORDINANCE NO. 674
FmHA LOAN DROUGHT
PROJECT
FIRST READING

Minutes - page 7
February 5, 1980

Councilman DelPizzo stated that in the future
developments he is going to have the ditches
fenced on both sides, to resolve the problem
of the City having to fence them after the
land is developed.

After discussion City Attorney Joss read
Resolution No.7, Series 1980.
Councilman Caranci moved that a minimum 6'
fence be used to fence the ODen ditch that
runs along the west and north sides of the
proposed land development, known as Christopher
Village. Seconded by Councilman Carnival.
Motion carried 5 - 1.

Councilman Caranci moved that Resolution
No.8, Series 1980 be adopted. Seconded
by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried.

All members of Council had before them a
copy of Ordinance No. 673 for their review
and files.
Mr. Wurl explained the change which lowered
the rate for sewer taps for multi family
buildings. He noted that buildings with all
their units still do not use as much of the
sewer facilities as a single family unit would.
He noted that the water tap is based on the
size of the pipe.
He noted that another change is the bulk rate
for water. The present fee is $.65 per 1,000
gal. it would be increased to $1.00 per 1,000.

It was pointed out that the increase did not
pertain to residential charges.

Councilmen Meier and Carnival stated that they
did not think the sewer tap for multi-family
dwellings should be lowered.
Councilman Caranci stated that he approved of
the tap fee change.

After discussion Councilman Caranci moved that
Ordinance No. 673 be ordered published. Se-
conded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried
4 - 2.

All members of Council had before them a
copy of Ordinance No. 674 for their review
and files.
