Mr. Wurl stated that he feels <br />that the County property, which is platted <br />lots in the Paragon Subdivision, value is <br />comparible to approximately 28 acres on <br />the north side of the hill and if the <br />exchange was made a trail system could be <br />completed to circle the north Louisville <br />area. <br /> <br />After comments Councilman Caranci moved that <br />Mr. Wurl be authorized to proceed with the <br />land trade with the stipulation that the <br />land be designated as open space at all <br />times. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried 5 - 1. <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />Mr. Paul Brooks, representing W.J.S. Corp. <br />and Bill Suitts, explained the issue and <br />stated that three lots needed to be re- <br />platted to fall under the subdivision plans. <br />He noted that ,the City also had two requests, <br />one being changing the legal terminology <br />on the land dedication the other was to <br />supply an easement on a piece of land. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl noted that the staff and planning <br />commission have reviewed the changes and <br />recommend Council approve them. <br />Mr. Joss read Resolution No. 24 approving <br />the Continental View EStates P.U.D. and <br />Plat Amendment. <br />Councilman Meier moved that Resolution No. <br />24 Series 1979 be adopted. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Hillhouse, representing the devel- <br />oper, gave a brief presentation on the <br />proposed subdivision. <br /> <br />He noted that there are approximately <br />10 acres with 45 units, 22 single family <br />and 23 multi family units. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier stated that he heard there <br />was some concern of the fire department about <br />the cul-de-sacs and turning ability of the <br />fire vehicles. <br />Mr. Hillhouse stated that all streets are <br />in compliance with the City regulations and <br />that the cul-de-sac would not create any <br />problems for emergency vehicle access. <br />
